SPCG Tip 411 FAQ's

San Pedro Citizen Guard

What is  SPCG Tip 411?

SPCG Tip 411 is San Pedro Citizen Guard's proprietary internet application and is used to report and help deter crime including suspicious activity and possible crimes in the making.  San Pedro Citizen Guard is a non-profit organization working with the community, law enforcement and the media to help deter and prevent crimes before they occur. San Pedro Citizen Guard began in January 2016 in San Pedro, California in response to rising local crime rates as a member of the National COP (Citizens on Patrol) Program. The local community, media, and law enforcement joined together in partnership to create San Pedro Citizen Guard. Money from private and public sectors were raised to pay for the group's expenses. Today there are over 1,000 COP programs nationwide. A unique feature of the San Pedro Citizen Guard's approach is the group’s inclusion of community members of all ages and backgrounds, all volunteering their efforts to reduce crime.
