Junior Volunteer Membership

From time-to-time SPCG is presented with volunteer projects that are suitable for young adults. Our Junior Volunteer Program is for young men and women ages 14-17 who want to make a difference in their community through service at SPCG. When you become a Junior Volunteer Member, you’ll gain valuable experience in a team environment, develop interpersonal and leadership skills, and learn to take on responsibility for your community— all while interacting with community leaders and staff.


To be considered for membership in the SPCG Junior Volunteer Program, you must:

  • Be referred by an adult parent or guardian
  • Be at least 14 years old at time of application
  • Be neat and well-groomed
  • Be trustworthy, dependable, honest, courteous, pleasant, and punctual
  • Have a professional attitude and behavior

Volunteer Opportunities

Junior volunteers may be called upon to perform a variety of duties that will in some way help the community of San Pedro such as:

  • Alley Cleaning
  • Street and Sidewalk Sweeping
  • Beach Clean-ups
  • Yard Clean up for Seniors
  • ​​and More...
